Fire Retardant Plywood (FRP) – Technical Data Sheet​ ​Definition:​​ A specialized plywood manufactured by impregnating veneers with flame retardants or incorporating them into the adhesive system. ​Key Properties:​​ ​Flame Retardancy:​​ Meets GB8624-2012 B1 standard (Difficult to ignite). Inhibits combustion, slowing fire propagation. ​Structural Integrity:​​ Cross-laminated veneer construction maintains high bending strength and dimensional stability. ​Environmental Compliance:​​ Formaldehyde emissions comply with E0 (≤0.5mg/L) or stricter standards. Some variants use NAF (No-Added-Formaldehyde) adhesives. ​Additional Features:​​ May offer decay and insect resistance. ​Applications:​​ Public buildings (hospitals, schools), furniture manufacturing, marine & vehicle interiors, and fire door cores.
