Definition: A specialized plywood manufactured by impregnating veneers with flame retardants or incorporating them into the adhesive system.
Key Properties:
Flame Retardancy: Meets GB8624-2012 B1 standard (Difficult to ignite). Inhibits combustion, slowing fire propagation.
Structural Integrity: Cross-laminated veneer construction maintains high bending strength and dimensional stability.
Environmental Compliance: Formaldehyde emissions comply with E0 (≤0.5mg/L) or stricter standards. Some variants use NAF (No-Added-Formaldehyde) adhesives.
Additional Features: May offer decay and insect resistance.
Applications: Public buildings (hospitals, schools), furniture manufacturing, marine & vehicle interiors, and fire door cores.
